  1. 1. Aluminum Honeycomb Core: Comprised of aluminum foil formed into honeycomb cells, these panels provide robust structural integrity and effective EMI shielding. The cells are glued and perforated, or laser welded at each join to maintain conductivity.
  2. 2. Optimal EMI Performance: For enhanced EMI shielding, we recommend using two pieces of honeycomb polarized at 90º to each other. This configuration guides electromagnetic waves efficiently, reducing interference.
  3. 3. Effective Waveguide Design: The honeycomb structure acts as a series of tubes, attenuating electromagnetic waves by guiding them through the enclosure. The tubes should be at least three to four times as long as their diameter for optimal performance.
